Welcome to Lometa ISD 2025-2026
Lometa ISD is currently accepting sealed and/or emailed RFQ submissions for a design-build method of delivery for a new CTE - Advanced Technical Center. The full RFQ is available at the Lometa ISD Web Page at https://www.lometaisd.org/district-management/construction. Additionally, interested parties may contact Rob Moore, Superintendent of Lometa ISD at rmoore@lometaisd.org. The completed RFQ packet may be sent to Lometa ISD, ℅ Rob Moore, PO Box 250, Lometa, Texas 76853 or emailed to rmoore@lometaisd.org. Submissions should have “STATEMENT OF QUALIFICATIONS FOR DESIGN-BUILD SERVICES FOR THE LOMETA INDEPENDENT SCHOOL DISTRICT” clearly marked on the front of a sealed envelope or in the email subject. The deadline to submit is 5:00 PM on January 16, 2026. Proposals will be reviewed at 6:30 p.m. on January 20, 2026 in the Lometa Conference Center and Board Room at 100 N. 8th Street.
The proposed project would provide for the construction of a metal building (concession stand with public restrooms) for a football/track facility. Additionally, the project will include running electricity and setting poles and installing a scoreboard and two down clocks and installing goal posts on the football field. (The scoreboard, clocks, and goal posts will be district provided.) The site of our proposed concession stand/restrooms is on our existing campus just north and east of our existing instructional facilities with access from County Road 2001 entrance and 8th Street entrance. Electricity is readily available. Water is available, but new lines will be required for access. Sewage will require septic installation as part of the design-build service.
The proposed facility and upgrades shall include the following spaces and functions:
1 – Approximately 24’ x 42’ (1008 sf) insulated metal building with concrete foundation and 5’ wrap around porch on 3 sides (555 sf), including a concession stand area and public bathrooms to serve a facility with 400 spectator capacity.
1 Roll-up serving window for concessions.
Covered porch on concession stand serving side and restroom entrances. (Approximately 555 additional SF of concrete porch area)
Storage cabinets in the concession area.
Technical closet for electricity and electronics (audio/data)
