Athletic Project - Concession/Restrooms/Facility Upgrades

The proposed project would provide for the construction of a metal building (concession stand with public restrooms) for a football/track facility.  The site of our proposed concession stand/restrooms is on our existing campus just north and east of our existing instructional facilities with access from County Road 2001 entrance and 8th Street entrance. Electricity is readily available.  Water is available, but new lines will be required for access. 

The proposed facility and upgrades shall include the following spaces and functions (See Floorplan below): 

• • 1 – Approximately 24’ x 43’ insulated metal building with concrete foundation and wrap around porch including a concession stand area and public bathrooms to serve a facility with 350 spectator capacity. 

  • 1 Roll-up serving window for concessions.

  • Covered porches

  • Technical closet for electricity and electronics (audio/data)

The following Separate Subcontract Bids are Being Requested:

1.  Pad Excavation and Preparation

2.  Concrete Foundation

3.  All Materials and Installation of Engineered Metal Structure and Sheeting - not including internal walls. 

4.  Plumbing - including all necessary fixtures (flush-valve toilets)/installation, grease trap, grinder pump, site prep including sewage/water connectivity (Appproximately 700' ).

5.  Spray Insulation in both inner and outer walls. 

6. Electrical - Power to Concession Stand and Scoreboard approximately 150'. Installation of 480V-240 transformer and full woiring of concession stand. 

7. Electrical - Wiring to Equipment Shed, press box and down clocks including all necessary panels, breakers, and wire (approximately 1000').
