Lometa ISD Design Build Request for Qualifications

Lometa ISD is currently accepting sealed and/or emailed RFQ submissions for a design-build method of delivery for a new CTE - Advanced Technical Center. The full RFQ is available at the Lometa ISD Web Page at https://www.lometaisd.org/district-management/atc.  Additionally, interested parties may contact Rob Moore, Superintendent of Lometa ISD at rmoore@lometaisd.org. The completed RFQ packet may be sent to Lometa ISD, ℅ Rob Moore, PO Box 250, Lometa, Texas 76853 or emailed to rmoore@lometaisd.org. Submissions should have “STATEMENT OF QUALIFICATIONS FOR DESIGN-BUILD SERVICES FOR THE LOMETA INDEPENDENT SCHOOL DISTRICT” clearly marked on the front of a sealed envelope or in the email subject. The deadline to submit is 3:00 PM on July 17, 2023. Proposals will be reviewed at 6:30 p.m. on July 18, 2023 in the Lometa School Library. 

The Advanced Technical Center

The proposed project would provide an additional 14,000 sf vocational center that would focus upon metal technology (welding trades), automotive, computer programming, robotics and drones, and a medical program. 

Production agriculture and building and trades would continue in the original vocational building. 

• • • 3 New Classrooms—Medical, Computer Programming, and Metal Tech. 

    • 5,600 sf metal working, automotive, and general vocational shop. 

    • Additional Lab Space: Robotics, Drones, and Emerging Tech such as Computer Aided Design.
